Part 1: Seasoning (before first use)
Before you cook anything, you need to season this once. It's new technology (stainless steel with ceramic), so this step is essential.
- Wash with warm soapy water
- Dry completely
- Rub a thin layer of oil across the whole surface
- Heat on medium for 2-3 minutes
- Wipe off any excess
Done. You only do this once, ever.
Part 2: Daily Use
Every time you cook:
- Start on low heat
- Add a thumbnail-sized bit of butter or coconut oil
- Rub it round the whole pan as it warms
- Turn up to whatever heat you need
- Use metal utensils (this pan can handle it!)
That tiny layer of oil is all you need. Food that normally sticks? Won't.
